Volunteers play an essential role in the Re-Wilding project

and are much needed in a number of different capacities!

 

Audience Coordination

As this installation is audience interactive, we need help in encouraging and guiding audience interaction.

 

Installation Help

Assisting with the physical material aspect of the installation.

 

Documentation

Photo and Video documentation.

 

 

 

AUDIENCE COORDINATION

 

This is all about guiding the experience of our audience members.

We want them to go from being a VIEWER to being an interactive PARTICIPANT – (within the given parameters, of course!)

 

There will be an Audience Interaction Station.

There will be information from our partnering environmental organizations.

Some viewers will be travelers quickly passing through and some will be intentional audience members.

 

+ Encourage the public to come and watch

 

+ Point out the Audience Interaction Station

 

+ Sensory Nature Station: Demonstrate the sensory nature objects and encourage them to touch, feel, smell, create sound etc.

 

+ Creative Feedback Station: Ask them to draw or to write or make a video about the nature installation - (There will be questions posted as prompts for creating) – then share with us via the QR code.

 

+ Point out the information from our environmental partners

 

+ Be generally available to chat, answer questions etc

 

+ Greet and coordinate with our environmental partners and photographers /videographers who arrive after performance has started.

 

It’s important for AUDIENCE COORDINATORS to find the right balance of being friendly and encouraging participation – but without being pushy or over-talkative! Allow viewers to experience the performance.

And enjoy it yourself too!

We really want to document as much of this project as we possibly can.

 

- Behind-the-scenes preparation, construction, deconstruction

- Performances

- Audience reaction and interaction

- Environmental partners

 

+ Is there anyone who would like to make a full documentary of this whole process? That would be amazing!

 

+ ANYONE who has an audio-visual recording device of any kind and can come and point it in the right direction and grab some footage at anytime will be most welcomed!
